Our Mission

Military experience. Civilian opportunity.

We are building a free route from military service into cyber, technology and wider relevant employment. Intake is open while training pathways, employer introductions and mentoring are being developed; these are not claims of delivered outcomes.

Veteran Transition & Employment

Free pathways and employer introductions for veterans, service leavers and active reservists moving into cyber, technology and wider relevant employment. Intake is open while we build the support and employer network, with no recruitment fees or commissions.

TechVets, a programme within the Forces Employment Charity. We’re working together to engage with and support the Armed Forces community across the West Midlands.

WMCTV CIC's veteran programme is ring-fenced to veterans, service leavers and active reservists. Intake, support and introductions are free for that group. We do not take recruitment fees. Funding comes from corporate sponsorship, scoped social-value partnerships and grants. We are not a general recruitment service.

Operational Roadmap

  1. Q4 2026 Phase · Currently Building

  2. January 2027

Planned operational launch, with candidate pathways, employer introductions and mentoring being developed.

Zero-Cost Safety Net

Free intake, triage, support and employer introductions for veterans, service leavers and active reservists. As an asset-locked CIC, 100% of surplus is reinvested in the community purpose.

Free Employment Pathways

Intake is open for veterans, service leavers and active reservists. Support and employer introductions are being developed across cyber, technology and wider relevant employment, with official-route signposting.

Candidate Clearance Triage

The 3-Stream Triage Model

The live intake form provisionally sorts veterans, service leavers and active reservists by self-reported clearance status, unverified until checked. Clearance is not automatically transferable and re-sponsorship is not guaranteed. Intake is open and the regional employer pathway is being built.

Stream A

Active Clearance

Active SC / DV Clearance

For veterans, service leavers and active reservists with active SC/DV. The developing pathway covers security operations, GRC, risk, privacy, cloud, software, infrastructure, networks, data, AI, OT and industrial IT, delivery, and technical leadership.

Stream B

Re-Sponsorship Consideration

Lapsed SC / DV Clearance

For veterans, service leavers and active reservists with lapsed clearance. WMCTV will seek employers able to consider re-sponsorship across security operations, GRC, risk, privacy, cloud, software, infrastructure, networks, data, AI, OT and industrial IT, delivery, and technical leadership.

Stream C

No Day-One Clearance Required

No Clearance Required on Day One

For veterans, service leavers and active reservists pursuing roles that do not require clearance on day one, across security operations, GRC, risk, privacy, cloud, software, infrastructure, networks, data, AI, OT and industrial IT, delivery, and technical leadership.

Founder & CEO

Ryan Jones

Royal Signals Veteran

Lived ExperienceCovenant Advocate

After leaving military service, Ryan met the hard edge of civilian transition: friction at every door, personal hardship, and the emotional and logistical grind of trying to break into commercial cyber security with a record that employers could not read. The skills were there. The translation was not.

That experience became a mission — no other service leaver should fight that battle alone. WMCTV CIC was created to begin building the safety net and career pathway Ryan needed and never had.
